Ayurveda Yoga Therapy Training

What the students say
About yoga therapy and the training

AYT - Ayurveda Yoga Therapy is a holistic therapy where you use yoga as a way to bring yourself into balance according to ayurveda philosophy. In Ayurveda Yoga Therapy we focus on each person’s individual needs and provide a program to help any physical or mental symptoms. AYT is always done one to one, the therapist and the client.

AYTT - the Ayurveda Yoga Therapy Training will teach you how to provide your client with the correct program for their specific imbalance and symptom or disease. You will understand the order in which we set the different techniques into the program and you will of course practice the different parts of the program yourself.

An important part of the course is to experience the different programs and feel how some programs are actually not suiting your constellation or imbalance. During the course we will share these experiences within the group so that we can reach a wider awareness of how our clients might feel if they are practicing the wrong kind of program. This is also a way to understand why we from the Ayrvedic view point mean that you should practice yoga with an individual program rather than a general yoga class.

To personalise your time at this course even more you will at the start of week 2 meet with the ayurveda physician to get to know your PDE (presently dominating element) as it is right now, and from then onwards start to do your morning self practice as well as getting all your meals individually composed according to the diagnose from the Ayurveda physician.

Except from all the wisdom, the knowledge and your own experience from practicing you will especially during the last week practice to teach each other to be prepared to take on clients after the course.
